The Overlook at Mill No. 5 is a multi-use event space, marketplace, and concert venue that is available for private rentals, catered events, community organizing, and more. Booking inquiries can be sent to hello@millno5.com.

Capacity
The Overlook is approximately 4,000 sq. ft. and has a capacity of 200. For live music events, tickets are limited to 175 to account for the number of performers and staffers. Please let us know prior to your event how many guests you expect and whether any accommodations are needed.
Seating
The Overlook is a general admission venue. Seating charts will vary based on the nature of the event.
Private Events
The Overlook can be rented out for private events on any day of the week. A minimum of three hours is required for any private rental.
Our rates are as follows:
Standard Rate: $300/hr
Non-Profit and Benefit Events: $150/hr
Partners of Mill No. 5: $100/hr

Collaborative Events
Mill No. 5 collaborates with many local artists, musicians, and organizations to curate a variety of concerts, markets, and fundraising events. Collaborative events do not require a rental fee; proceeds are instead split between the venue, organizers, and/or performers.
Staff
For both private and collaborative events in The Overlook, a state-certified crowd manager will be onsite to ensure that the event runs smoothly. Additionally, we are able to provide a TIPS certified bartender for all beer & wine service. If renting The Overlook privately, however, you may choose to hire your own bartending service.
Accessibility
The Overlook is located on the 5th floor of Mill No. 5 and can be accessed via the elevator at the main entrance or via the stairway from the 4th floor.
Parking
Metered parking is available on Jackson Street or in several nearby garages. Event staff and organizers may use the private lots behind Mill No. 5.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located in the hallway just outside The Overlook. The men’s room and ladies’ room are both equipped with handicap stalls.
Regulations
Smoking, open flame, and haze are strictly prohibited in The Overlook.
