Calling All Local Performers

Coffee & Cotton’s NEW Open Mic Night will begin Friday, July 15 and will be a staple event going forward on the first and third Friday of every month. The entire menu at Coffee & Cotton will be available which includes local beer on tap, fresh baked goods from chef Emma and NEW pizza from Mill Ghost Pizza.

Open Mic Night will be hosted by Mill No. 5’s new event manager, Joel Mongeon. Joel is a songwriter/guitarist from Central MA and has performed around New England both as a solo act and with his band, Grand Honey. Those wanting to participate should arrive at 6:30 to sign up. Music begins at 7pm.

Hi,

I am a singer/songwriter always looking for new open mics, particularly “listening rooms” and I recently learned of your open mic. I have a couple of questions.
1. What is the format? two songs/10 minutes, whichever comes first, like many open mics?
2. Is there a “donation” and if so, how much?
3. Does the show usually start on time, around 7:00?

Thanks,
Dan Margarita

Where in Mill 5 does the open mic rake place? In coffee and cotton or in the performance space?
