Artist Reception: Solysium by Daniel Kerns, October 19th from 2pm to 5pm.

Solysium is a feeling of unhinged delirium from being alone. It is a state of being in which your mind becomes separate from the universe and becomes a universe in itself. When I think of my work, where it comes from, what it means to me, it always seems to originate from this place. And what’s even more interesting, what I think about all the time, is that we all each of us have this. Our own separate universe.
