New Exhibit at Curation 250
Curation 250 is showcasing artwork by Adam O’Day throughout April and May at its gallery on the 5th floor of Mill No. 5. The solo show, entitled The Valley Below, is a collection of cityscapes and interiors painted during quarantine, and the promise of an indefinitely postponed family reunion at Adam’s brother’s fishing camp (of the same name) in the North Georgia Mountains. “The Valley Below continues to be a concept of hope for Adam’s family, because it will be the first time seeing his family in Georgia, after all this is over… it promises to be a show with a hopeful vibe, with familiar paintings of everyday life, paired with the adventures of our near future. Everyone has their own version of what their first post-pandemic trip will be.” Adam O’Day is a Boston-based artist known primarily for his expressionistic and impressionistic oil paintings and large murals. He also works with mixed media and design, and illustration.
Curation 250 is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-4pm. Please visit the exhibit during open hours or contact Curation250 for a private viewing. There will be no opening reception.
