Guerrilla Girls

Curation 250 is welcoming a new exhibit created by the Guerrilla Girls from August 7 to September 26 entitled “The Art of Protest”. The Guerrilla Girls is an anonymous group of feminist female artists devoted to fighting sexism and racism within the art world since 2005. To remain anonymous, members don gorilla masks and use pseudonyms that refer to deceased female artists. The Guerrilla Girls have been invited to produce special projects for international institutions, sometimes for the very institutions they have criticized.
